In the second half of Chapter 10, one of the topics we discuss is the grievance process of Union employees. Grievances continue to increase in the workplace, and it is essential that HR managers understand the intricacies of union grievances and how they impact the employees and the organization. According to the National Labor Relations Board, during the first six months of 2023, unfair labor practice (ULP) charges filed across the NLRB’s 48 field offices have increased 16% on top of a substantial increase last year. In total, 10,792 cases have been filed with the NLRB’s 48 field offices across the country, up 14% over the same period in Fiscal Year 2022. For the Chapter 10 Assignment, complete the following:
